Walk London’s rich history with Richard Cohen

The Story of London through Portraiture

The National Portrait Gallery is Britain’s great hall of fame where you can look at the great and the good and the not so good of our history. We will look at portraits of Great Londoners and hear about their stories and the contribution they made to the development of our great city. I have chosen a trail through the gallery which will introduce you to the lives of an extraordinary range of characters who have all played a role in the story of London including kings, princes, courtesans, writers, engineers, architects, legislators, reformers and many, many others.
